Shield W5100 issues

Hi

The W5100's I have do not correctly reset after power loss. I need to manually press the reset button again. I have added a capacitor across the reset button and this has had some success but has also caused issues with other shields on the board.

Has anyone else had this issue? Any recommendations for other ethernet shields that don't have this issue?

I never experienced anything similar with the original Arduino Ethernet Shield.

Do you have a link to the ones you buy?

I might have been unknowingly buying cheap Chinese shields
