Hi there, today I had funny situation(not for me) when I was working on my project I connected nano esp32 a little wrong to my custom board. It was moved by one pin(see on picture). When I connected the arduino usb cable it started to heat up and stink... I am 99% sure that it is a short circuit in processor but a wanna someone to confirm it for me.
sry for my eng))
Remove the esp32 from your PCB and turn of the power. Test with your multimeter. Maybe there is a manufacturing error. Traces often gets overlapped and create unexpected short circuit.
And yes I am proud of this lego model ![]()
To bad. You can get a cheap one for less then the cost of one fried Arduino.
You always could build your own LEGO multimeter!
That's all it takes. So Vcc and GND got in contact with each other, or with I/O pins. Don't waste any more time on that ESP board...
