SIM800L GSM module for Location Tracking?

Hi,I am working on a project where i will use a sim800l to send notifications to my phone, i wanted to know if I could avoid using a gps module like the Ublox neo 7m and just use the sim800l for getting the latitude and longitude values to send to my smartphone.
