Hello. Here is my attempt to create single-sided Arduino-Leonardo clone, with possibility of DIY-photoresist production. Designed in KiCAD. Dual LDOs (3.3V and 5V), additional connectors for RS232, I2C, SPI/ISP.

I think you should move your traces further apart. In most cases (ie the traces going to the digital IO pins), you have plenty of room...

The boards look great. Currently waiting for components to arrive.

The ATMega32U4 has a thermal pad on its underside.
Oddly the datasheet makes no reference to it whatsoever except for the footprint drawing which shows that it is present.
See sections 7.2 & 7.1.
The exposed pad only applies to the QFN44 (quad flat no-lead package) and not the TQFP44 (thin profile plastic quad flat package) as used on the previous post.
