Sliding Door Mechanism

I have A and B which are two doors mounted on Channel C

Door A is fixed and non movable
Door B is movable

I have two motors on A and B Doors with belt. Now if I connect motor to wheel A and move in forward and reverse direction,
will the door open and close

If this is possible I can figure out how to program it

Why did you start this topic in one of the Covid 19 Emergency Response categories of the IDE ?

It has been moved to a more relevant category

Please be more careful in future

What you want to do is quite possible' but it’s more than a simple project

Most states have a number of fre and safety regulation for ‘auto doors’, and you need feedback from the motor and door position for obstructions and lots/end points.
You may get there faster by purchasing a manufactured controller to do the heavy work.

I’ve designed front end controllers to apply in these specific applications.

How will the program know it the door is opened or closed?

Internally, it will use current sensing, or limit switches to inform the controller.

If the motors have encoders, many controllers’slow down’ as they approach the limits of travel. These limits can be configured within the controller when it’s installed.

I will use limit swich to sense open and close position. I will use DC gear motor what i am requesting is that is the assembly of roller and belt is ok for the proejct

That would be more a question for an engineering forum...
Belts need to be in closed cages to prevent fingers getting mangled.
Do the doors have a rail to carry their weight?
Best to hang the door. Rails in the floor tend to collect stuff...

Why is a fixed door named a door?
Did you build a small scale prototype?
With motor and belt from an old printer or so...

You might consider using a rack and pinion
