SMD LED with heatsink

Hi, im using several of these cree led
ill just be soldering them to strip board, however they get hot pretty quick, does anyone know a good way to attach a heat sink? i have experimented with attached a small heat sink to the copper strips that ive soldered to, however this wont work for my project as i need to mount some parts over the top of the led.
has anyone had any experience with this?

many thanks

If this forum or Cree can't help, Surefire has a lot of good, practical knowledge on heat dissipation of superbright LEDs:

I glue mine straight onto the back of the heatsink using epoxy glue, just making sure the tabs for the power stay clear of it.
