SoftwareSerial library not working

I am working on a project that uses SoftwareSerial but does not seem to be avalible any more

There is no bundled SoftwareSerial library for the Adafruit Feather M0. The reason is that board has plenty of hardware serial ports so there is almost certainly no need to use the less efficient software serial.

I used SoftwareSerial a day ago and it worked fine now it does not what's the deal

Did you have Tools > Board > Adafruit Feather M0 selected when it was working?
