Solar panel 5.5v and TP4056 18650 Battery charger

Hi,
I have IN4004 diode, TP4056, Solar Panel 5.5V and some 3.7 batteries. I want to make a charger out of this.

Please can you guide me with a setup?

I am not sure, whether diode is required, and if yes, where should I connect?

One video, said to use it at input of TP4056 {-ve}
another said to use between out+ and out -

and Im not sure which one is correct. Also is diode required?

Is Voltage booster only for protecting a mobile or similar from overcharging? Is IN4004 ok [instead of IN4007]?

I need inputs, whether existing parts are enough to charge an 18650, without new parts like voltage booster
