hello. i use arduino nano 33 IoT for my weather station project for school. I want to save power by putting arduino to sleep mode but i ran to some problems. I nead to mesure how much rain has fallen nonstop. For example if arduino sleeps for 5 minutes it cant mesure how much rain did fall in that five minutes. Can somebody help.
What kind of rain sensor you have? If it's bucket type, you could wake up your arduino with that output signal.

Easy answer: don't sleep.
OR
Find a way to measure rain while the board sleeps then wake up periodically to measure what has been collected, dump, back to sleep.

Previous measurement minus current measurement equals amount accumulated per unit of time.
