We have a speaker and an amplifier for an Arduino school project but we do not know how to assemble the parts.
We have an Arduino Uno. Any help would be appreciated
Solder the speaker leads to the pads labelled "4-8 ohm"
It looks like you'll need to solder to the board. You can cut the existing connector off of the speaker if you don't have a mating connector.
The speaker goes to the 4-8 Ohm connections on the board, and the polarity doesn't matter.
Connect the appropriate Arduino output pin (whatever pin your software uses) to the amplifiers A+ (audio +)input. Connect the A- input to the Arduino's ground.
And of course, connect your battery or power supply to the amplifier's + & - terminals.
