Speed Sensors

Hi guys I am participating in an Project and I need some guidance in Speed Sensors
if you can help me with a list of speed sensors that are compatible with genuino zero board.
Thanks

Speed of what?

Speed of a toy car

From the point of view of the car, (odometer) or some external reference (Doppler radar)?

How about giving us a full explanation of what you want to do. Then it may be possible to help.

Here you go. Not sure if it's complete, but you'll be able to find something suitable for sure.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.

Please read the first post in any forum entitled how to use this forum.

Is the car being built or are you hacking an existing toy car?

What drive motor is it using, a link to data/specs will help.

Can you post a picture of your car please?

Thanks.. Tom...

At the top of your browser window there is an empty bar that's called a search bar if you type into that Arduino sensor you should be able to find a sensor that will do what you need

I think it would really be cool to to add a GPS module and use the satellites to tell you not only where you are but your speed

You can get fancy and put a display on and actually show your map coordinates as well

It is a remote control toy car
we are going to hack into it and I need a speed sensor to detect how fast it is going to be and the sensor must be compatible with the genuino ZERO board.
Thanks

How big is it?
What actual speeds are you looking at?
How accurate does it have to be?
To what extent can you make modifications to the car?
Any environmental issues, such as moisture/dirt/high or low temperature/etc, that your car has to endure?

I use a QRE1113 reflective optical sensor to detect the speed of a small DC motor.
