I improved the system, if water flow fast will make ec high, slow water ec will be low, now will reduce flow rate by controlling 1 inch ball valve with step motor nema 34, 3.5 nm. Use the dm556 driver which receives the value from the sensor ec. If the ec value is not the specified value, it will adjust the 1 inch ball valve to reduce the flow rate to reduce the ec value. Arduino can be used to control the rotation angle of the step motor to control the ball valve. or not
Sounds like you should use a servo motor, not a stepper motor.
I would like to know the size or model of the servo motor that is used with 1 inch ball valves.
That is a wonderful idea. How do you have the stepper motor attached to the ball valve? Have you measured the torque necessary to move the ball valve?
We use a structure to mount the ball valve directly to the step motor, the motor core is attached to the head used to rotate the ball valve. As for the ball valve torque of 3.4, we choose a step with a torque of 3.5.
That is great! I have used ball valves for many things for many years. What microstepping do you use the get the fine control of your ball valve? It is extremely difficult to get just the flow you need because the orfices are round. In the beginning of the movement, the opening is very small, but with incremental movement, the rate of change goes way up.
