STM32F407VET6 mini board: which package/board to use?

I have this board: Cortex-M4 STM32F407VET6 Mini version of the core board STM32 minimum system version

and would like to know which is the (best) suited Arduino package and board configuration to use with.

I have STlink V2 for download, the board has a dedicate 4pin header for download.

I have experience with the packages STM32GENERIC for STM32 boards and STM32 Boards(STM32duino.com).

Any recommendation is appreciated; are there general recommendations?

I can’t help directly. I have only just started experimenting with the “blue pills” (F103 series) attracted to them because of the incredible price of $2.
