I've been using a Nano to control the lights & sounds on my 1/14 scale RC truck. This is done by using Ibus communication from a Flysky transmitter and receiver and is powered by a 7.4v lipo battery.
Next phase is now to have the trailer lights work wireless, as well as be able to control the trailer landing legs and a tipper body or loading ramps theses would be servo or motor operated.
As my fleet grows there may be several different trucks & trailer combinations. So i was thinking of using NFT tags to assign the wireless addresses.
I have purchased and tried working with NRF24L01 units but have not managed to get simple communications working. As I have searched though the forum and the internet I realised this is probably down to poor quality hardware as the originals have been discontinued some time ago.
Please can I have some suggestions for suitable hardware? I'm happy to swap out my Nanos for something of a similar or smaller size
