PWR led does not light
I only see a version 1.3 on the Sparkfun web site.
Do you have a link to the V3 version?

Sorry, it's Sunflower Can bus shield V3. It has a 8MHZ crystal.
I have problems connecting the SPI pins and the CS port. The current mcp.can.h libraries are based on 16MHZ.
This video for the V2 shield says pin 10 is CS and the Seeed studio library works.
A few days ago I solved the problem I had. I changed the crystals to 16MHz, but these boards do not light the communication reference leds.
I use Cory Fowlers CAN library and in the init line you specify the crystal, much easier then changing crystals. I was lucky I started with this library as I have a can node that had a 16 Mhz crystal while the other swere 8Mhz.
