Hello, I am attempting to make a project where where keyboard inputs are automatically put into my pc when something is detected. I'm super lost and I don't know where I'd even start with this kind of a project. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Second tip. Take some time playing with Arduinos and getting warmed up before attempting this project.
The project seems a little broad, you need to be more specific with what you are trying to achieve. Do you mean if someone types something on the PC's keyboard then the PC will automatically save it into a file? How would this involve the Arduino? OR are you connecting a keyboard to the Arduino? or are you using the Arduinos Serial monitor?
