TCP IP STACK ON GPRS MODEM

Hi,

So it looks like the tutorials I could find to connect to the internet using a GPRS modem all use the inbuilt TCP/IP stack.
I am using a modem that does not have this. it relies on a PPP (dial up) link and returns a code when inputting AT commands specific for the TCP IP stack.

So my question is, did someone managed to successfully implement this or will I be forced to trow my RS-232 3G modem and use a GPRS shield instead?

Yes, use a GPRS shield instead. You probably will never get a complete PPP client into the RAM and flash of an Arduino.
