The IDE asks me to Restart, and then it locks up ?

Often when I start the IDE I get a message headed "Restart"
A setting has changed that requires a restart to take effect.
Press the restart button to restrat Arduino IDE and enable the setting.

When the IDE retarts it presents a dead window missing a title bar that cannot be moved or resized. If I kill the IDE and start again it comes good.

You're not the only one :wink: See A setting has changed

It however does not happen often; I think I've now experienced it 3 times; the last time it happened the thought crossed my mind to go back to 1.8.x.
