[image] mikemarcu: CH9102F That is what is in the web site. I am Mac, so don't have these issues. As I understand it you open the Device Manager and watch it as you insert the USB cable. You should see a new USB port get created. That COM number should match the IDE selected com.

This is a new version, does not operate with IDE, it operates with “platformio” under VisualStudioCode. Windows does not recognize the board as a valid USB device.

It will still work with the IDE. It's a Windows problem, good luck with that.

I think we are talking about 2 different generations of product.

You can edit, compile, upload with IDE1, IDE2, VSCode/PlatformIO one after the other, and within reason at the same time. I have all 3 and flip back and forth all the time.

I finally found a driver that works constantly, on Win10 and Win11, on 3 different computers, from wch.cn . Can you, please, help me add the location on the display?

on line 168 I tried this: ofr.cdrawString("Brossard", 10, 95); Nothing changed on the display.

Can you, please, drive me into the right direction, as you always did?
