Timeframe to approve submissions to Project Hub

Hi there,

Apologies if this is a duplicate query, but I haven't come across any recent posts (post April 23).

I have a few questions about the Project Hub:

  1. How long does it typically take for a project to undergo review and be published on the Project Hub?
  2. Is it worth the wait?
  3. How rigorous is the review process?

Many of the projects include impressive Fritzing diagrams and descriptions, but the code leaves a lot to be desired. For instance, I got the young fulla to find a few environmental sensor projects to make, only to end up with issues such as incorrect wiring and mapping errors with inaccurate values (possibly due to a misunderstanding of analog pins and maximum values).

If they're not checking them properly why is there such a delay in the process? It is somewhat frustrating and has led me to question whether this is the best platform, especially considering I'm utilising an Arduino board to teach STEM.

Your experience has already provided the answer to your question about quality control of Arduino-sponsored tutorials, including the Project Hub. It is not high.

If you are planning to teach STEM projects, I suggest to set your quality control standards considerably higher, by carefully reviewing all aspects of candidate projects, and correcting the major flaws before subjecting students to them.
