Does anyone have a sketch and wiring to (a) read the Battery Voltage and (b) to recharge the battery ?
Currently on the short side I have SDA connect to A4 and SCL to A5
I am able to read the time, but I have noticed a time creep backwards
I have the circuit connected on and off working at time and sitting on a shelf for others
I need to charge the battery, but I'm unsure how
Thanks in advance

Does anyone have a sketch and wiring to (a) read the Battery Voltage and
probably not. The battery can be relied upon to deliver the correct voltage until it is dead and, when it dies, there is nothing you can do about it.
(b) to recharge the battery ?
I need to charge the battery, but I'm unsure how
The battery isn't rechargeable and it should run for years. If you really do need a rechargeable battery, you have probably got the wrong RTC module. There are better ones around that are more accurate and they may have separate power supply that can incorporate rechargeable batteries.
