TOF sensors - VCC and VIN

Hi there ,
Testing two TOF sensors, VL53L1X , connections are simillar with one different.
One of them has a VCC pin, this one works fine - picture on left side
Second one has a VIN pin instead, nothing happens at all....no input on console....

Testing them separatly, and using USB.

Dont know if i doining something wrong or this with VIN ( purchased from alliexpress - has good opinon) .

Any advice please

Did you follow the wiring diagram? Did you wire it like this

  • Board 5V to sensor Vin
  • Board GND to sensor GND
  • Board SCL to sensor SCL
  • Board SDA to sensor SDA
  • Board 2 to sensor GPIO
  • Board 3 to sensor XSHUT

The TOF Vin is for 5V in and not Arduino VIn.

Hi,
Tried connection VIN to 5V pin, no input as well.
So you are saying that we cannot use this kind of sensor ( with VIN) on MKR WAN?

looks like it for arduino....
