I am having the same problem. How do I install the correct driver?

We need to know which USB-serial chip is on your Arduino. The most common ones are the ATmega16U2 on the official Arduino boards and some clones or the CH340 on most clones. You can find this by looking at the markings on the chip, which is near the USB jack or on the bottom side of the Nano. If you can't find it we may be able to determine which one it is by looking at the product listing page from the link to the store where you bought the board.

I have the original Arduino Uno purchased from Amazon. On the back the board model is UnoR3. Is this what you are referring to?

If it's a real Uno or a faithful clone then the driver is located in the drivers subfolder of the Arduino IDE installation folder.
