I have missed the opportunity to translate the Arduino IDE 2.0 to my language when it was called for because I wasn't active then.
Now that I would like to do that, it seems that I can't because the platform used for translation is expensive and its license for the Arduino community has expired.
I am surprised that some open and free platform wasn't used instead.
Is there, or will there be a way to do a translation to my language for Arduino IDE?

Would you mind sharing more information about this? I am not directly involved in managing the translation contributions, so I am not necessarily in the loop on all developments. However, I am involved in managing the internationalization side of things in the Arduino IDE codebase so I'm very interested in the subject.
By "platform", are you referring to Transifex?:

Something you might be interested in is the translation of the Arduino CLI tool that handles non-GUI operations for the Arduino IDE. Some of the text printed in the "Output " panel and in notifications originates from Arduino CLI. So translation of the Arduino CLI project in addition to the Arduino IDE project is necessary in order to achieve full translation coverage for the Arduino IDE application's user interface.

As I wasn't aware of any sort of expiration of the Transifex license for Arduino IDE, it might or might not be that the same problem is affecting the Arduino CLI project as well, but it's worth taking a look.
Translation of Arduino IDE 2.3.2 seems to be a problem. I want to help for a better translation of the German language pack. I logged in to Transifex and I found a lot of strings we could get better. Today I got a message that my request was not accepted. Who decided this and against what background?
In Germany we have two very different forms of address people when we talk to them. I believe that the maker scene uses an informal form of address with "du" ... and Arduino should do the same. I think it's really bad that there is no uniform line in Arduino IDE 2.3.2. Numerous texts use the informal form of address with "du", but many also use the formal form of address with "Sie" ... both in the same software. Bad thing!

Basically, when I tried to contribute it told me something about license for the translation expiring, something to that effect.

I think Crowdin would be a better platform for this project than the current platform
