Hi, I have an Arduino connected to the PC via USB. I also have a LED strip powered by an external 5V adapter. Is there a way to turn off the LED strip when I turn off the PC without having to unplug it from the power supply?
Sure, Use a switch, relay module or something, depending on the strip current.

Or, plug the PC and the LED supply into the same power bar.

Without knowing what you have I cannot give an accurate answer. What you want is defiantly feasible and not very hard to accomplish.
Many PC mother boards leave the USB ports powered when the switch is off. Is yours one of those?
