The first one recommended by @jim-p should be ok.
Thanks a lot. Which arduino would recommend for this use? Arduino UNO or MEGA?
The Uno will be fine and it is cheaper than the Mega.
What about the power supply for the motors?
Ok
I think i am going to buy the first one you suggest on amazon.de…what you think?
I found this here:
Could this work probably??
I don't read Chinese.
Can you buy from Digi-Key or Mouser?
I'm trying to find the cheapest solution
This is a 18,5V PSU. The min voltage of the stepper driver @jim-p recommended is 18V. So you are at the lower limit. You can try, but a 24V PSU would definitely be better.
Ok
But this here is already good enough dont you
Think?
(MEAN WELL GST40A12-P1J SNT EXTERN 40W 12 : Amazon.de: Computer & Zubehör)
Ok, thanks. Why is 24V needed? Because of the requirements of the steppers?
Because of the requirement of the stepper driver.
In the link in #27 you can select several PSU. Be sure to select the correct one with 24V. And it should be able to provide >60W.
No it is not!
No. Because the minimum voltage for the DM542 drivers I specified is 20V.
I have given you two options for power supplies but if you don't answer my questions I can't provide any further help.
I am sorry for not answering to your question. I am still doing research on mouser, coming back to you asap!
I found this on distrelect, is that good enough now?
Yes that is fine.
You will also need a power cord
Brown wire -> L (AC)
Blue wire -> N (AC)
Green/yellow -> ground ╧
Be very careful with these connections. The voltage at these connections can KILL.
That's why it's forbidden in Germany for non-professionals to use something like this. However, nobody supervises it as long as nothing happens ...
There are less dangerous alternatives.
Can you recommend a less dangerous option, i am non Professional and would like to buy a more secure one…
What about this??
What was required again? 20-24v and 4-5 Amp?
Yes use that one, The other one you listed does not have enough current.
