TX to rx and RX to TX aint working correct

Hello there i am trying to make TX to RX and Rx to Tx by master and slave .. to pass a sequence in vixen but my slave arduino aint receiving any data ..
can someone help me please

Sorry, my crystal ball is at the repair shop.

Putting AWOL's reply through Google Translate it returns

"How are we supposed to know exactly what you are doing if you do not post your code for both ends of the Serial link and the schematic of your project"

The easier you make it to read and copy the code the more likely it is that you will get help

Please follow the advice given in the link below when posting code , use code tags and post the code here

And to make things worse you have posted the same question without details in 2 sections of the forum. The other one has been deleted to avoid members wasting their time answering in two places

Rx -> Tx
Tx -> Rx
GND -> GND

Can you confirm this please.

Hi, @UKHeliBob

Almost had a lockup when you did that. :joy: :rofl: :joy: :rofl:
I just hit "reply" when you deleted it.

i am sorry for that .. iam new here please be patient to me

tx1 and rx1 correct?

18 and 19 pins in arduino mega

Can we assume that you are using Serial1 throughout the sketch and not Serial somewhere by mistake ?

Take a look at this post which has complete code for Serial1 to ESP soft serial

While I don't take this as a valid excuse, we will be patient.

Every time you post to a forum, think about what you would say to a friend who is helping you on the phone. They cannot see your code, or wiring, or any error that the IDE will show you. You would need to give that information to them. The same as here, We cannot see what you see, we need to see the code, a schematic or clear image of your wiring (I prefer schematics), any errors from the IDE, and a description of expected outcome and what is different to what was expected.

Also, try to use more than 5 words in one sentence to supply answers as the more information given will make the responses 'better' for you i.e. More accurate, or faster or with more detail.

PS this is not a rant, I genuinly want to see users get a better experience on the forum, for both the questions and responses.

thanks for the advice! i fixed the problem by my own ..i will try to get better on that and my next post explain the problem the best i can!
