Hi

I found this about setting up an ultrasonic sensor interface for the ardunio

what I want to do is have 2 ultrasonic sensors not side by side but one for transmitting and one for sending, I saw another website that says "Air transceivers can be converted into contact transceivers" but it doesnt explain how... does anyone here know or have experience with this?

You need to explain a little more about what you want to do and how much you know about analogue amplification.

The arduino can take a 0-5v analog input, and with appropriate code, can evaluate that analog input against standards in the code, and provide an output. The challenge might be getting your sensor to output its signal in the desire analog voltage range.
