I have no idea. Maybe you can provide a link to the datasheet for it so we can help you.
On the subD. They are more than likely RS232 level and not TTL level so you can not directly connect them to an Arduino.
What is the IC between the subD and the SIM holder? Please take a sharp picture of it so we can try to identify it.
