I am currently undertaking a piece of Coursework at university, the idea is to have 4 LED lights that are controlled by a twitter API. the following hashtags on twitter #Happy #Sad #Angry #Love determine which LED light will come on, if it is the most popular of x about of time. For example in 2 minutes the code will count which of these following hashtags have been used the most across twitter.
the only problem is no one in our group are advanced programmers or have worked with API's before. we need help with a way to do this and potentially sample code to show us how we could count tweets through an API for the lights to show using the most popular #.
