Hello, I bought a compatible arduino nano. When I connect it with the type c cable, the arduino ide recognizes it (both the port and the type) but if I upload a trivial sketch it fails to upload giving an upload error (avrdude: stk500_getsync() not in sync: resp=0x03 and 0x10). I also tried to select the 328p old bootloader but nothing to do.
Do you think it is possible to do something?
Hi, @HondaFireblade
Welcome to the forum.
Do you mean you selected it and the upload still failed, or you tried and could not select the old bootloader?
Can you please post some images of your Nano so we can see if it is any different to regular Nanos?
Thanks.. Tom.
There is a third option (168) that you can try. You have to try all of them.
Please post a link to what you bought.
I'm not sure how USB-C works, but I got a similar error message with my USB-mini Nano and I solved it by replacing the cable. I had like 4-5 cables that were only for charging, and not for data.
Do you have another cable you can try with?
Yes, i've changed cable but the error remain. With another clone arduino nano, the first cable work fine. I exclude that the cable is a problem.
