Upload failed programmer not responding

Using Arduino IDE 1.x

I have a uno and got a avrdude: stk500_recv () : programmer is not responding. Error message. I used a photoresistor. Temperature sensor. Servo motor and a 7.2v battery bank 6 batteries 1.2v each connected to the barrel jack.
Servo connected to pin 9
And the power connected to Vin

Temp sensor to pim A1
Power connected to 3.3v and to Aref
See picture. Ignore light sensor and yellow jump wire

Light sensor to pin A0
Power to 5v pin

Ive done a loop back test with and without chip. Both passed. Ive had it happen to me before but it went away the next time i uploaded the code (different project ). And i cant smell anything weird. The L led does not blink when i plug it in and the power light is on .Hope someone can help

Were you able to upload sketches before this?

I would remove everything and upload the sketch.

Hay ive tried uploading a blank.
Yes i could upload previously.

Remove all the components in circuit.

Oo yes i have tried that. Because thought a sensor or servo might cause it

Your board is toast.

Oo noo do you think it is the board itself or just the ATmega328P chip
