Uploading stuck and got error vrdude: error: buffered memory access not supporte

Hello I have been using the Yun for a day, but I have several issues when I try to upload the sketch. Sometimes I got it work, but most of the time the IDE got stuck in "Uploading..." and the Yun flashes the led RX only.

Sometimes I got this error in the black box:

ound programmer: Id = "Running"; type = r
Software Version = n.o; Hardware Version = m.b
avrdude: error: buffered memory access not supported. Maybe it isn't
a butterfly/AVR109 but a AVR910 device?

What I have been doing so far to get this work it's changing the port from tty to cu then upload the sketch, and when it get stuck again, I change the port back to tty...

I am using Mac OS x Mavericks and the Arduino 1.5.6 r2 IDE.

I appreciate all your help!

My IDE gives this on a sketch upload:

Found programmer: Id = "CATERIN"; type = S
Software Version = 1.0; No Hardware Version given.

What board is selected in the tools menu?

While this is from Linux here is my avrdude command the IDE uses:

Found upload port: /dev/ttyACM1
.../arduino-1.5.6-r2/hardware/tools/avrdude -C.../arduino-1.5.6-r2/hardware/tools/avrdude.conf -v -v -v -v -patmega32u4 -cavr109 -P/dev/ttyACM1 -b57600 -D -Uflash:w:/tmp/build7492426310380397651.tmp/YunSerialTerminal.cpp.hex:i

Is yours similar?

Hello thank you for your reply!

I discovered that uploading from WIFI works OK, so I have been uploading that way.

My Arduino it's a Yun, and I have selected Arduino Yun from the Board Menu.

I've uploaded a new basic script with the Serial Port TTY and this is what I got:

Uploading using selected port: /dev/tty.usbmodem1411
/Users/gerruizd/Downloads/Arduino 2.app/Contents/Resources/Java/hardware/tools/avr/bin/avrdude -C/Users/gerruizd/Downloads/Arduino 2.app/Contents/Resources/Java/hardware/tools/avr/etc/avrdude.conf -v -v -v -v -patmega32u4 -cavr109 -P/dev/tty.usbmodem1411 -b57600 -D -Uflash:w:/var/folders/t4/c83p05mj7vjgfnx9r1gghf5m0000gn/T/build7391654036445084084.tmp/sketch_apr19a.cpp.hex:i

That's very strange. Can you use the normal serial communication with the yun?

For what it is worth, I get these errors quite often using mac (at least 75% of uploads).

The best way around it is double clicking the reset button.

Sometimes I have to unplug and replug the USB.

No trouble using the board (reading serial) when the upload is successful.
