I have two USB Host Shields that I had both soldered as required and I'm trying to connect a USB mouse but my mouse isn't being powered. If i connect my cell phone to the usb port on the usb host shield my cell charges so it appears the solderingb worked. I'm trying to run the example sketch from the link below and my mouse doesn't seem to be powering up. I've also tried both an arduino uno and arduino leonardo. I also change my port baud rate to 115200 through device manager but still can't get my mouse to power up or get detected. I have a buddy who has the same setup as me but we're both noobs and can't figure this out. Does anyone have any troubleshooting steps to get me going? I appreciate any suggestions.

Sort of. I was using a non-Ardruino brand boards and I started using Arduino brand boards and the USB Host Shields are working properly.
