usb port doesnt show up

the usb port isnt showing for some reason

im using mac os x

ive had my arduino for a while and i just cant figure out why programs wont upload.

i use the ide 017

i think that if i can just get the port, it will upload but the port doesnt show under tools>serial port

I think I've read somewhere that 0017 uses different serial drivers. Maybe try reinstalling the drivers?
