I wanted to build this Useless Box but I do not know what I am doing!
I have no experience with programming or coding. However, I am capable of putting mechanical parts together.
There's a link in the video that shows you can copy the coding, I guess to enter into a program of some sort??
What do I need to build this? It looks awesome. All I really want to do is build this lol.
I would at least want to put it together if I just had all the parts with a pre-programmed "chip" or something (obviously I don't know about programming LOL)..

By the time you get part way through the easy text you will begin to understand the parts you will need. With no parts list it is a little more difficult than a pre-made kit.
looks like a UNO, three medium servos, old wire coat hanger, tons of hot melt glue, switch, wire etc.
This is a good place to get help, not a good place to have someone else do all the work. Maybe someone will want to make one for themselves and give you a BOM. The code is done which is the tricky part.
I have seen those boxes in the past with no processor in them.
@Paul - correct - I glanced at the code and lots of stagger steps etc. that show in the video - would be an interesting box to leave on a desk at an office
