Using 4 pieces ( 10KG HX711 Load Cell) to measure an object (less than 10KG)

I am planning to create a measuring system that uses HX711 Load Cell to measure an object (less than 10KG)
but the width of the particular object is to large, so I'm thinking of using 4 seperate pieces (10KG HX711 Load Cell) to properly carry and fit the object on a platform.

Is this idea good? any suggestion?

Note, each load cell has their own each HX711.
meaning 4 load cell with 4 HX711.

No reason why it cant work.
Does it matter if the scale is oriented horizontally?
