Hi, I have a M430F149 Rev L and I want to use it and program it. it is a tiny square micro controller? thanks 
You can probably download the software from TI. You may also need a programming device.
Some one has ported Arduino to the MSP430 series mcus, it's called Energia. Go to the TI website and search for it, doesn't have as many drivers,support, or features as Arduino and it might not work with that mcu, but you could try. I've used it for really small projects on 430s that I got as samples.
