Hello! I'm trying to interface Nextion 2.4" Touch Display to ESP8266. Whenever I connect it to the board, I always hear a ticking sound. Why is that?
I'm currently making an alarm clock using DS1302 and Nextion. However, I'm having a hard time trying to make the board and the display communicate with each other.
Help please. Thanks!
Here is the wiring diagram.
The ESP is a 3.3V device, the Nextion is a 5V device, the DS1302 seems to be a 5V device also.
You should not expose ESP pins to 5V signals.
even with the use of a development board which provides 5v connection?
Do you have a hard time understanding "you should not" ?
