Ventuno Q: price speculation vs. Jetson Orin Nano Super developer kit?

I know that it hasn't been released yet, but I think I saw in another forum that it was listed at 455 EUR/$520, which would make it 2x as a Jetson Nano which is $250.

The Jetson Orin Nano (carrier board) has 4x USB-A, USB-C, GigE, Display Port, DC-in (and it apparently powers the USB connectors through a buck converter). I'm not sure about the hardware compatibility, but if it's on-par (with sufficient analog and digital ports) then what are the guesstimates on price point for the Ventuno so that it doesn't price itself out of consideration?

The UNO Q does not yet appear to be widely adopted on the Arduino Forum. Some prominent and experienced members have described it as a more complex platform compared to traditional Arduino boards.

As a result, relatively few forum members seem to be actively experimenting with the UNO Q at present.

In that context, price may not be the primary factor influencing adoption of Ventuno Q in the forum.

The board is available for $250 from NVIDIA and some distributors. But get information directly from NVIDIA instead of some guy on some board like me. If you are referring to a different board provide a link to the board.

Check out youtube for people with hands on experience with the board. The developer experience looks designed for engineers and professionals.

The board has 8GB of RAM so this limits the models to 9b or less. The above link has a table of tokens/sec for various popular LLMs.

I have no idea what models the Ventuno Q with 16 GB RAM will run out of the box and if any models will be hardware accelerated with its NPU and/or its GPU.

No idea for sure, but when I did a query, one or more sites estimated < $300

A slide on a Ventuno Q presentation by an Arduino employee says "< $300 USD / < 359 Euros (TBD)". Also Ubuntu pre-installed. And "Launching later this summer".
I skipped through the video so I may missed something.

Thanks for sharing that nice video @customcontroller! I hadn't seen it before.

In case anyone wants to access that specific information immediately instead of watching the full video, it is at 3:59, here:

Hello,

I noticed the information shared earlier by @customcontroller mentioning a target price below €359 and a launch planned for “later this summer”.

Has anyone heard any more recent news regarding the expected release date?

I’ve been setting aside a small budget for one and I’m really looking forward to trying it out.

Thanks!

The video is from Ubuntu Summit 26.04, which was held 2026-05-27 through 2026-05-28. So it is quite recent.

The person making the presentation (Eric Adams) is a staff product manager at Qualcomm, so this information comes from an authoritative source.

I'm not aware of any more recent news. That said, I also wasn't aware of this news , so maybe one of the other forum members will be able to share something more recent I didn't know about.
