When exactly will the Arduino VENTUNO Q be in stock? I’ve been waiting, and the second quarter has already ended; when will it be available in China? Could you provide some concrete information?
To be honest, you announced this back in March and said it would launch in the second quarter; now it’s July, and the pace has been far too slow. I took a look at the Linux kernel for the Uno Q and Ventuno series, and it seems the only addition was support for the IMX219 camera—the kernel hasn't been touched in two months. Is the workflow really that sluggish? There hasn't been a single update on when it will actually launch.
Hi @mmbvv. Thanks for your interest in the VENTUNO Q!
The most recent news I have seen on the subject was from the presentation by Qualcomm Product Manager Eric Adams at Ubuntu Summit conference (held on May 27-28th):
This summer, we're very excited to launch the VENTUNO Q.
(hat tip to @customcontroller for originally sharing this interesting video)
I acknowledge that this information isn't as specific as you might hope for, but it does at least provide a window for the planned launch date.
This question seems to be similar to the question "How long is a piece of string?" so it might be difficult to determine. Nevertheless, it seems that someone at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) has been able to determine that a "standard" piece of string has a length of 319.442mm. The composition, thickness or number of strands in the string is not stated so I am not sure of the exact formula to calculate how its length relates to the release date of the Ventuno or how to convert that value into time in units of days, minutes and seconds, but it seems that there is at least some (admittedly slight) hope that someone, at some point, may be able to extrapolate the value, calibrate and and publish it.
So the release date of the ventuno q is highly non-deterministic and volatile in nature and subject to uncertainty principle, whe either now when it willl be released but not where or vice versa. I still hope I live long enough to see one on my desk and that the coffin like appearance of the string cover is not a hint to the contrary.
Hi I've Just got mail with link to early bird presale and delivery warranty sept 30rd but unfortunately no more product available, what about this action knowing that following previous mail official presale starts on sept 25th? Somebody know, and what about bonus code get together with this early bird announcement
If I'm not wrong this early bird preorder at least for delivery to Poland/Europe is sold out or not available, I'm wondering to get some comments from Arduino team
Hi @marek54. Thanks for your interest in the VENTUNO Q.
I see that the board's stock status is indeed currently "sold out" in the non-United States version of Arduino Store (https://store.arduino.cc). It is still available for pre-order in the United States version of Arduino Store (https://store-usa.arduino.cc), but I guess that isn't so useful to those who are located in areas like Europe which would be better served by the fulfillment centers used for orders from store.arduino.cc.
I made an internal inquiry to double check that we already sold out store.arduino.cc so soon after opening the pre-orders. I'll post an update here if I receive any news.
I think you may have misread the email. I just checked and the email with title "What would you build if we gave you a VENTUNO Q?" I received 2026-08-05 says "August 25th":
I don't understand what you mean by that. If you provide a more detailed explanation, I'll do my best to answer.
Hi, thanks for comments, the subject o the mail send by your marketing is following: Your VENTUNO Q discount is inside and early bird pre-orders are LIVE!
That is today's email. I was responding to your comment:
I assumed that "previous mail" was referring to an email you received prior to today. That assumption was further strengthened by the fact that today's email doesn't say anything about the 25th.
I have an update about the pre-order availability. I confirm that, due to exceptional demand for this new board, the stock allocated to "early bird" pre-orders did indeed sell out within a matter of hours. The USA store is also now sold out.
We will try to make more stock available for pre-orders soon. You can click the "Email me when available" button on the Arduino Store page to subscribe to notifications of stock availability.
We have not announced a time for the opening of global pre-orders on August 25th. I recommend anyone who wants to make sure to get their order in before the stock available for pre-orders sells out be sure to keep an eye out over the course of that day.
Of course more stock will come available for immediate purchase over time as additional batches of boards are manufactured. So everyone who wants one is certain to eventually get their hands on a VENTUNO Q. It is only a question of how long we must wait to be able to start working with this powerful board.
I know I'm excited to receive mine! I actually didn't see the email for some hours, so it was lucky that I didn't miss out on getting my order in.
