Voltage divider circuit for arduino

how can I display battery percentage of my 12v battery using arduino? Can anyone provide the voltage divider circuit with appropriate resistors and code?
I am using rechargeable 12v Li-ion battery.

have you googled for "voltage devider" and inserted the numbers to get the highly sophisticated 2 resistor values?

Try reading arduino/reference and look for analog reading.

There are no 12V Li-ion batteries. Do you mean an 11.1V or a 14.8V?
