Arduinos and image recognition don't go together well. Try a Raspberry Pi or similar.

What makes you think image recognition software is needed?
I think that's just an inkjet printer freed from its desk-bound case. I reckon it is getting its XY positon data from wheels touching the wall.

Only image recognition I see is the use of black reference marks on the right edge of the picture to help align the printer, and that just requires detecting the black against the white background.
