Was working fine and then avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding

My arduino Uno was runnig just with USB and had a connected displacement sensor to it in GND and A0. But was playing around and tryed the 5V hole. I was write code to get the voltage in output in Serial monitor and just suddenly i cound not upload to arduino Uno anymore and get this message up to 10 of 10. Could this have dameged the Arduino?

avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x8c

I have checked that it is connected correct, tried uninstall and install again. Restared computer. Thanks for help.
