Waveshare RP2350-Touch-AMOLED-1.43"

Hi everyone,

I have bought a Waveshare RP2350-Touch-AMOLED-1.43" but cannot get the display to work.

From my investigation, it seems there are two different variants of this board - V1, with 'normal' SPI; and V2, with Quad SPI.

The Waveshare libraries and drivers (https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/RP2350-Touch-AMOLED-1.43?srsltid=AfmBOooEEKKHrJ_eOjhcWswO0tnhhCzvePKuRxCAIukV5_2c-woUpVeY#Demos) don't appear to work, and any other examples I have been able to find seem to be for V2 (QSPI).

Any suggestions on what to do?

Ideally, I want a very basic Arduino sketch that allows the display to simply do 'something', and I can work from there...

how do you know their demos don't work?

So - I got the demos to 'work' but not well...

There's a lot of fiddling around to get lvgl to work - the Arduino IDE needs to be reverted to an 8.x version, and the library file structure needs to be modified, and then the demos work to a limited extent.
