Hey Fellas,
I am trying to run the self-balancing program with Wemos D1 Mini. I do have a problem. The D1 mini IO pins are 3.3v level. Will it be OK to connect MPU6050 to the D1 (D1 and D2) for I2C communication?
Or do I need to spend some bucks on a level shifter?
Help!
What did the datasheet for the MPU6050 have to say?
Well, Yeah I read and it said it works on 3.3v and not 5v but the problem is ebay!! They didn't supply enough information about it. When I used 3.3v my MPU would dimout for few micro secs and restart again. This didn't happen with 5v.
You'll have to post a link to the product you ordered, and a clear picture of the PCB (if the ebay listing doesn't have any).

If using a GY-521 board, VCC 5V is recommended. The board has a 3.3V voltage regulator. VCC 3.3V is too low.
hello what coding for wemos with MPU6050 can someone help mee?? please
