I am hoping that using reflective optics might work as thew are considerably cheaper.
Since they are metallic and the surface is on the top as in telescopes, I believe that they works. If there is glass along the optical path I believe that there will be problems.
So Cassegrain is ok but Schmidt-Cassegrain and Maksutov-Cassegrain not since there is a glass correction plate.
