Dear Arduino team,
I would like to ask a question related to Arduino Giga R1 WiFi
The Mbed has announced that The Mbed platform and OS will reach end of life in July 2026. You can see the detail here
Arduino Giga R1 WiFi is using Mbed, what will happen to this board? will it be discontinued ? or do you have any plan to build a new core for it ?

it uses Mbed version from 2019. it will still work next 10 years or more

MBED is open source, so it's not going away (the online IDE, which Arduino doesn't use is going away, and ARM support for it is going away.)
I imagine Arduino will continue to use it indefinitely, like the way they use obsolete versions of gcc...
