What's this component on the Arduino schematic? It appears in several places. I can see the copper pads for it on the board, but not what the component is or what it's for.

It is meant to be solder bridge or a cut able trace. I believe the one marked "reset" can be cut to prevent a reset when the DTR line goes low which is normally used by the bootloader. If you cut it you will have to push reset manually when uploading a program, but the board will not reset every time you open the serial monitor.
