Where can I find a simple 10 digit backlit keypad?

I'm looking for a keypad that has a back light. Not looking for anything fancy, a simple keypad with the numbers 0-9 and if * and # is on there as well that is fine. Something simple along the lines of this but with a light!

I've only been able to find a couple back lit keypads at all and they were all really fancy and so expensive.

Thanks!

You could get buttons/switches with LEDs built in & make your own.
Not sure what's availalble for key faces

I'll keep that in mind as a last resort, but that seems like a whole lot of work reproducing something that I'm sure already exists, I just don't know where to find it lol. Perhaps I'll go buy a cheap land line phone and try to steal the dialing pad out of it, those are usually lit.

Maybe something like this?

No I need numbered keys, and they need to be like a keypad not big glowing blocks hehe  Thanks though.

Yeah something like that, but I don't really want metal. This is going to be for a keypad for a security system, so it needs to be able to light up the numbers so that it can be seen at night in the dark, but at the same time I would prefer it to be a little more aesthetic than metal numbers

I'm playing with a little 2.8" TFT touchscreen that I picked up at radio shack right now to use instead of a physical keypad, but the problem with it is I can't figure out anyway to turn it off so that it isn't putting off light in the dark when it isn't needed. I'm also not crazy about how slow it is at drawing, during screen changes you can watch it erase every single pixel over the course of half a second or so.

They do a version with plastic keys http://www.kingleadertech.com/china-panel_mount_rugged_backlight_keypad_with_12_back_lit_keys_mkp92_12bl-199333.html still a metal backing but if it's for security a rugged device would maybe be better.

An indoor security system. You wont find many metal objects inside  If it was outdoors then sure I'd go with metal all day long lol.

Plus, I just don't like that website. If a website isn't capable of displaying their price without me having to request a quote, chances are I don't want to buy from them. It usually means their prices are either insane, or they only deal with large bulk / contract orders.

Can you drill some 3mm holes in the PCB near each button (obviously not drilling a copper track) and shine an 3mm LED onto the underside of the keycaps?

I thought about trying something like that but I don't think it will work for the keypads I currently have. The keys look very opaque. I don't think much if any of the led light would make it through.

Maybe some type of hooded led socket that would illuminate the front of the panel?
